Mlimani is a non-governmental organization established by Selestine Philipo Mshomba in 2011. His vision is to improve the lives of impoverished children by providing primary education, food and clothing. Mlimani runs soley on charitable donations.

In January 2011, Mlimani accepted 26 students in a small rental home with 2 rooms converted into an office & a classroom. The student population increased quickly from 26 to 112 students within a year. By 2012, Mlimani hired 3 additional teachers and moved to a larger rental home with 2 offices and 6 classrooms.
Mlimani's Goal: ** Provide children with free education ** Increase student population ** Register as an official primary school ** Provide shelter to orphans ** Build a permanent school |

Recently, Mlimani purchased land close to their current location. Future plans to build a permanent school with residences have been halted due to lack of financial support and resources.

Mliamni's mission is, "to produce well educated and self reliant citizens by developing the children's knowledge and skills through quality education, health awareness and spiritual guidance."
Mlimani is located in the Arusha municipality in a village known as Mlimani in the Sokoni One Ward.
